Company
Solip Tech Co., Ltd. is a KAIST university spin-off company established to commercialize siloxane hybrid materials for innovation in technologies and products across industries, including display, automotive, electronics, and energy. The company originated from the national R&D project ‘Sol-Gel Innovation Project (SOLIP)’ conducted from 2002 to 2012. Our industrially scalable siloxane hybrid material technology, based on the sol-gel process, was originally developed at Professor Byeong-Soo Bae’s Lab. of Optical Materials & Coating (LOMC) at KAIST. Distinct from conventional inorganic materials (glass) and organic materials (polymers), siloxane hybrid materials provide a novel platform material solution to overcome complex technical and industrial challenges. This technological innovation is supported by more than 100 core patents owned by the company.
